We work diligently to find perfect, loving homes for neglected and unwanted pets throughout the DFW Metroplex.
Hi there. I’m Spencer, and I’m about 3 months old. I was brought in from another rescue. Most pups my age are crazy energetic, but I definitely have a gentle side. I will crawl right up in your lap, and stay there as long as you will let me. I will give you lots, and lots of wet kisses. I just love to be loved. Don’t get me wrong, I like to go explore also, and would love to have a family to introduce me to the big scary world. So if you are that family, let’s meet.
Hey you! Listen to me good! There are lots of kittens here, but I’m pretty sure that I am the one that you want. Just ask for Luther. I’m 4 months old, devilishly handsome, and full of love and laughter. Did you hear me? You. Yes, you. I’m here, at the shelter, laughing, being good-looking, and waiting for a human just like you!
The DFW Humane Society is a non profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1967.
We are a no-kill shelter dedicated to giving homeless and unwanted pets a second chance in life through adoption.
We house about 80-100 animals at any given time.
We don’t receive any state or federal funding so we depend solely on caring people for our survival.
